VIRTUAL PRODUCTION ALERT

Taking you from the metaverse to reality using virtual production with unreal.

In this spot we did for @yambafilms for this coffee brand @carringtonscoffeeco we take you from a complete virtual environment in @unrealengine and bring you to a film set in our small studio in Manchester.

The clever part of this video is being able to have 2x unreal environments in one shot which is made possible by the repeatability of our robotic arm via multipass.

Another trick that we have up our sleve is that we have zero frame delay with our process. The normal way of tracking your camera would give you between 7-12 frames of delay, but because we have full control over our programmed move we can counter this delay to zero frames!

This allows us to get a whole load more creative with the camera moves and do things that you would normally have to avoid, and we all know we don't like to compromise our shots!

Having a good foreground is a key part to selling the virtual production gag. It's soo much fun being able to match colours in unreal to match the real foreground and to be able to make objects in 3d to match your foreground props, like the flower planters and tables in the coffee shop. Anything is possible!

We have our whole unreal pipeline ready at G6moco using our robotic arms and linear tracks, who is going to shoot there next project with us?

Swipe rightto see the entire video stitched together and enjoy how we seamlessly take you from a full 3d environment to our table top setup with the led walls and watch how we scouted the 3d environment with virtual reality glasses! Soo cool!
